2026 was Team 10918’s rookie year in FIRST Robotics Competition. It was the first official season for the Bluesteel Dragons: students building, programming, and competing together as Masterman Robotics.
Our rookie year, on the record.
At the Philadelphia district event, the team received the Rookie All Star Award and served as captain of Alliance 8. At Centennial, we received the Team Spirit Award. The season also included participation in the FIRST Mid-Atlantic District Championship.
Those milestones tell different parts of the same season: a new team finding its place at competitions, students taking responsibility for a robot, and a school community represented on the field.
The work behind the robot.
A season belongs to more than the drive team. Mechanical, Electrical, and Programming bring the robot together. Finance, Arts, Media, and Outreach give students other ways to contribute to the team. Our rookie year is a starting point for that shared work.
